As a System Engineer at TAL, you will be responsible or the technical definition, design and successful execution of automated intralogistics projects throughout both the pre-contract and execution phases. Acting as the technical expert, the Systems Engineer works closely with Sales, Project Management, customers and suppliers to develop innovative, cost-effective and technically robust solutions. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Madrid.
Your impact SALES Analyze customer operational and logistics data to develop optimized automation solutions.
Perform system simulations to validate proposed designs.
Design automated systems using CAD and engineering tools.
Develop technical concepts that balance performance, cost and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with Sales teams to prepare competitive technical proposals.
Support supplier selection and technical evaluations.
Prepare execution strategies, project plans and Gantt schedules.
Validate the overall solution considering technical design, suppliers, execution plan and financial viability.
Act as the technical expert during customer presentations and solution reviews.
PROJECTS EXECUTION Validate engineering documentation before manufacturing and implementation.
Lead the preparation and presentation of Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
Coordinate technical activities between engineering, suppliers and project teams.
Ensure technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Support installation, commissioning and system go-live.
Provide technical guidance during testing, validation and acceptance phases.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience in intralogistics, warehouse automation, material handling systems or industrial automation.
Experience working in engineering, systems design or solution development roles.
Experience with international projects is considered an advantage.
