Position Overview
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the ORALREGENERIX project, focused on oral tissue regeneration using handheld bioprinting technology. The role reports to the Advanced Biofabrication for Tissue Engineering research group led by Daniel Nieto at the University of A Coruña. The position is permanent, full‑time, 35 hours per week, starting 1 August 2026, located at CICA Centro Interdisciplinar de Química e Biolóxía.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the business plan.
Secure public and private funding (venture capital, business angels, grants, EIC, CDTI, etc.).
Manage investor relationships and prepare investment rounds.
Develop strategic alliances and commercial agreements.
Coordinate regulatory activities and market access strategy.




Oversee organizational growth and business structuring.
Represent the company before investors, partners, and public bodies.
Support intellectual property and commercialization strategy.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing and leading technology or biomedical startups.
Experience in investment acquisition and fundraising.
Experience negotiating with investors and closing funding rounds.
Experience in business development and corporate strategy.
Knowledge of the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and technology
