We are looking for an Adaptation Technician to join our Quality Assurance team within our Food Business Unit , based in O’Grove, Spain .
How you make the difference:
This position is key to adapt and optimize the company's general solutions and products to effectively meet the specific needs, preferences, and cultural and operational characteristics of the Spanish market, enhancing the user experience and facilitating local adoption.
Your team:
- You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- The role involves the functional coordination and internal relationships with R&D;, QC, QS and Industrial team.
How your agenda looks like:
- QA Invoice Processing: Process and manage Quality Assurance (QA) invoices.
- Technical Documentation Management: Review and update technical documentation for products in production to ensure compliance with SDG regulatory requirements.
- Certification Coordination: Coordinate procedures related to certifications such as MSC, Halal, and CRAEGA.
- Document Review: Review documentation in Therefore prior to the release of mackerel products.
- Export Documentation Administration: Manage ingredient documentation required for export operations.
- Traceability Support: Prepare and provide traceability responses to customer inquiries.
What makes you a great fit:
Education
- University degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Marine Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, or a related discipline).
- A Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field is considered an advantage.
Functional knowledge
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of food safety principles and practices.
- Knowledge of certification standards , including MSC, Halal, CRAEGA, and similar schemes.
- Strong problem-solving skills .
- Experience with enterprise software (e.g., SAP, DEVEX) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of thermal processing and food preservation techniques is an advantage.
- Familiarity with international food safety standards (e.g., IFS, BRC, ISO 22000) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of European and Spanish food legislation is an advantage.
Languages:
- Spanish: Native or bilingual proficiency.
