Key Responsibilities

- Administer, monitor, and tune large scale distributed OceanBase for high performance and scalability.
- Manage tenant/cluster resources (computing resources relocation and provisioning) in distributed OceanBase environments.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve large‑scale distributed DB issues using SRE/DB alert systems.
- Participate in on‑call rotation to handle emergency DB incidents and provide timely resolutions.
- Review DB‑related requests (data security, SQL impact on production) to prevent potential risks.
- Follow company policies and development processes for database operations. Ensure data security, auditing, encryption, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.

Technical Requirements





- Deep expertise in OceanBase, MySQL, and Oracle to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our large‑scale distributed database systems. The idóneo candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills.
- Expert–level knowledge of database internals (ACID, storage engine, SQL engine, HA/DR, security), strong distributed OceanBase administration skills (OCP, obproxy, tenant/cluster management), and the ability to collaborate across teams to optimize database operations.
