Responsibilities

- Lead or contribute to the development or refinement of credit rating methodologies
- Lead or oversee the background research supporting methodology development work
- Interact with and maintain relationships with the heads of the various rating teams
- Contribute to the development of analytical tools used in credit analysis
- Oversee the work of junior analysts; help train and mentor less experienced team members
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to rigorous regulatory requirements

Requirements

- Minimum of 10 years of fundamental credit experience
- Substantial exposure at a rating agency, lending institution, private credit platform, or comparable organization
- Demonstrated depth of experience in some fundamental credit sectors




- Strong foundation in financial analysis
- Proven experience managing and mentoring analytical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, Python, financial modeling, and data analysis
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
- Proactive, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, economics, or related discipline required; advanced degrees preferred
