We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead – FinTech SaaS to lead the technical evolution of our Python -based Financial Management Tool in Madrid (2 remote days/week), combining hands‑on development with technical leadership.

Note: Candidates must already have a work permit in Spain, as sponsorship for a visa is not provided for this position.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the technical delivery and evolution of the Financial Management Tool, ensuring alignment with business and client requirements
- Drive the design and implementation of features supporting financial analysis, credit risk assessment, portfolio management, reporting and workflow automation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Evaluate and propose new platform capabilities, including automation, AI‑assisted features and API integrations, providing high-level feasibility assessments and effort estimations
- Define solution roadmaps, estimate features and coordinate delivery across internal and external development teams using Agile methodologies
- Support the preparation of sprint planning, backlog prioritization, project timelines and change requests from clients




- Facilitate communication across distributed teams and serve as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders and prospects
- Deliver regular progress reviews, demonstrations and technical updates

Required Skills:

- 8–10+ years of professional experience in software delivery, technical leadership and/or solution architecture
- Proven experience leading enterprise SaaS or FinTech software projects
- Background in software engineering (backend development with Python, database management, software delivery) and/or solution architecture
- Proven experience in coordinating software releases in collaboration with DevOps
- Good understanding of financial services, financial analysis or credit risk processes
- Experience with Agile delivery, stakeholder management and modern software development practices

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with financial management, credit risk or portfolio management platforms
- Familiarity with AI-powered automation and API integrations
- Expertise in Jira, Confluence and Agile methodologies
- Project Management and/or Scrum certification

Additional Information:

- Full-time position (40 hours per week) following a hybrid model
- High level of English and Spanish; must be able to communicate regularly with the teams in Switzerland and Spain respectively
