What's the project?

Our client is a global leader in professional HR and recruitment services operating across 30+ countries. From their vibrant Shared Services Centre (SSC) right here in sunny Barcelona—a multicultural home to more than 40 nationalities, they keep international operations and finance running like clockwork.

To stay ahead of the curve, their Finance IT team is launching a fresh digital initiative. Right now, they rely on around 80 automated processes powered by UiPath. The immediate plan is to give these bots a serious refresh: cleaning up, optimizing, and modernizing the code over the next six months. Once that solid ground is laid, you will pivot into the fun stuff—building cutting-edge AI utilities, launching intelligent agents, and helping the wider finance team unleash the power of automation!

And your role in this?

As an Automation & AI Enablement Specialist, you will be the hands‑on tech brain making this transformation happen. You'll take raw, legacy automations, level up their architecture, and pave the way for intelligent, AI‑driven workflows that save everyone time and headache.

More specifically, you will:

- Upgrade & Modernize: Take ownership of existing UiPath bots, refactoring legacy code, updating specifications, and managing testing, verification, and hypercare.
- Code & Develop: Write clean, stable, and scalable scripts using Python and SQL to tackle complex data tasks and integrations.
- Drive AI Integration: Lead the transition toward AI‑enabled and agentic solutions, spotting smart opportunities where intelligent tools can partner with standard RPA bots.
- Coach & Elevate: Act as the team's go‑to Subject Matter Expert,



handling level‑3 technical escalations and mentoring finance colleagues on automation best practices.
- Engage Stakeholders: Connect with finance teams to map out workflows, gather requirements, and turn daily operational friction into sleek digital fixes.

The Automation & AI Enablement Mindset

Must-haves:

- ~3+ years of hands‑on UiPath development experience in enterprise settings.
- Strong software foundation with practical experience in Python and SQL/databases.
- Practical exposure to AI solutions and building custom tools.
- Curiosity and drive to experiment with new AI tools and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English to translate tech concepts to non‑tech colleagues effortlessly.

Nice-to-haves:

- UiPath Certifications or hands‑on REFramework experience.
- Previous experience inside a Shared Service Centre (SSC) or finance environment.
- Familiarity with API integrations, JSON, and data structures.
