We are looking for a Trading Digitalization & App Development Specialist to join our IT Trading team in Madrid. This role will be responsible for leading initiatives to digitalize and automate processes and tasks within the Trading organization.

The responsibilities we'll trust you with

- Lead and coordinate the internal Trading Development team, managing activities and task distribution to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Analyze and optimize workload distribution and team assignments to identify potential gaps, ensuring the team is fully aligned with methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Supervise external development teams , aligning priorities and deliverables to achieve consistent, high-quality results on time.
- Ensure operational continuity , maintaining robust application support and BAU maintenance capabilities, while allocating resources for new project launches.




- Design and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with Business and BAs, leveraging the most suitable technologies to address business needs and enhance automation and efficiency in Trading.
- Stay ahead of technology trends , assessing new and emerging tools that can create value for the business and advising management on technical solutions that best meet operational needs.

What are we looking for?

- University degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science or related.
- 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in process analysis or optimization roles.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in the development and implementation of IT solutions.
- Familiarity with ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) solutions in the trading domain is highly valued.
