Overview
Amazon Logistics seeks an experienced, innovative, hands‑on Process Engineer in Europe to standardize and integrate the latest technologies in Delivery Stations, while proposing new innovation initiatives. The role requires a deep customer focus, strong self‑motivation, exceptional project management skills, and an analytical, data‑driven outlook.
Key Responsibilities
- Design new Delivery Stations and upgrade legacy sites from planning to execution, including automation integration.
- Lead and drive technology integration and standardization across EU‑wide programs, owning layout integrations and optimizations in assigned Delivery Stations.
- Contribute to network standardization by sharing best practices with European counterparts.
- Provide process expertise on engineering design, defining material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real‑estate implications.
- Lead strategic initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve processes and station designs, engaging and influencing key stakeholders.
A Day in the Life
The Engineer leads end‑to‑end design for new Delivery Stations, improves existing station processes, and works closely with internal stakeholders (Operations, Design, Construction, Launch & Expansion, Safety).
They produce best‑in‑class layouts for new launches, optimize existing stations, present to leadership, and drive automation programs to integrate new technologies into legacy stations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations management or logistics.
- Experience in manufacturing, process or industrial engineering.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of project management tools.
- English fluency in speaking, writing and reading.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
- Experience with data analysis (advanced Excel and database analysis).
- Experience using CAD technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp or KeyShot.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
