Responsibilities

- Act as key operational partner for regulatory compliance for sustainability.
- Drive day-to-day execution and provide regulatory insights.
- Ensure general compliance of HP products with environmental regulations and market access requirements.
- Maintain visibility on regulations, trends, implementation status, risks, and challenges across regions.
- Prepare and support monthly compliance reviews and reporting.
- Track and resolve off-track items, driving actions and mitigation plans.
- Support the development and quality of Working Assumptions and regulatory interpretations.
- Act as packaging sustainability SME for customer inquiries and requirements.
- Collaborate with HP product stewards to set and drive HP’s sustainability strategies and goals across functions.
- Monitor industry trends, technologies, and competitor landscape.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, Environmental Science or related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of sustainability topics (ESG, recycling, circular economy, etc.)
- Strong project management skills
- Using data and AI tools
- Typically, 2+ years’ experience in packaging design, sustainability,



compliance or with relevant work experience.
- Desirable: experience/specialist knowledge of Extended Producer Responsibility (including WEEE and Batteries), Packaging or Product Repair & Longevity
- Proven project management skills to lead projects and programs with team members from diverse technical backgrounds.
- Ability to collaborate successfully, coordinating and directing virtual, matrixed teams and resources to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and solve complex problems.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English.
- Willingness to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Self‑motivated to make progress towards goals autonomously as needed.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience or understanding of productivity software and tools, including AI, Power BI, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, results, and requests at the senior management level.
