We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and Spain-resident Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team and design, build, and optimize the scalable data pipelines and architectures that power our analytics and reporting, with a strong focus on maintaining high-performance data processing systems and integrating enterprise operational systems!

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL to develop and optimize scalable data transformation logic.
- Ability to design robust relational and dimensional data models, complete with clear metadata, lineage management, and data quality controls.
- Solid experience using Azure services (such as ADLS Gen2 and Azure Data Factory) to build and operate reliable workflows.
- Mastery of Databricks technologies including PySpark, Delta Lake , and SQL Warehouses to develop high-performance data processing solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices using Git and Azure DevOps , alongside Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.

Role and Responsabilities





- Build and automate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake ).
- Ingest and transform data from SAP S/4HANA and other operational sources to create reliable, well-structured datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Implement robust monitoring, testing, and reliability practices to ensure high-quality, trustworthy data pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Hands-on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA data sources, such as CDS Views and OData/APIs.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, logistics, and production.
- Familiarity with SAP IBP data structures and planning processes.
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools, specifically Power BI, for delivering actionable insights.
- Knowledge of enterprise data security and compliance requirements, including GDPR, secure data sharing, and auditing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across integral, cross-functional teams and cultures (Professional English proficiency required).
- A product-oriented mindset focused on simplification, standardization, automation, and delivering measurable business value.
- A collaborative, proactive working style with the confidence to operate successfully in agile delivery environments.
