- Execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Plan and execute work on a first‑time right approach with customers.
- Provide on‑site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently.
- Consult with and advise customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
- Create and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions.
- International travel will be required, as the role will require hands‑on support at customer sites.

Requirements

- A degree in Electrical / Power Electronics engineer or CFGS in similar fields.
- +3 year of experience working as Field Service Engineer, with knowledge in measurement technology in the field of power electronics (voltage range up to 4kV) and with IGBT converter technology.
- Medium‑high level of English.
- Sound knowledge of and hands‑on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Drives, Traction or Wind Power Converters.
- Independent, structured and initiative way of working.
