Role Overview
You will join our Digital Transverse Functions Solutions Team (EIIF) whose objective is to build, develop and maintain new digital solutions in different functional perimeters such as HR, Corporate functions, Procurement, Quality & Programs. You will be part of a multicultural team involved in the design, building and deployment of digital solutions based on custom development or SaaS solutions. We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Operations Specialist to support UPH (Unified Planning for Helicopters), a critical business solution built on top of the Planisware platform. In this role, your primary focus will be ensuring the application's stability, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical incidents. No prior experience with Planisware is required.
Responsibilities
- Application Monitoring: Monitor the UPH solution’s daily performance via Dynatrace tool, server health,
and batch jobs to ensure maximum uptime.
- Incident Management: Act as the first line of technical support (Level 1/2) to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, performance lags, or user-reported technical issues using ServiceNow.
- Environment Maintenance: Assist in deploying application updates, patches, and configurations across testing and production environments.
- Data & Database Support: Run SQL queries to investigate data inconsistencies, extract reports, and ensure data integrity within the application.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the infrastructure team, business analysts, and external software editors to resolve complex technical blockers.
- Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation, operating procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
Required Skills & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Software Engineering.
- Experience: 0‑2 years in IT operations, application support, or system administration.
- Core technical skills: Basic understanding of Linux/Windows server environments, good knowledge of SQL, familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) is a major plus, understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, curiosity and strong desire to learn complex enterprise software architectures, good communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.
