Jumb Online is part of the TBO Group, a general platform aimed at simplifying all the buying and selling needs of travel partners worldwide. The proprietary technology platform seeks to simplify the demands of the complex global travel world by seamlessly connecting travel buyers and highly distributed travel suppliers at scale. We are looking for a Pricing Director to join our team based in Palma. This role owns pricing strategy end-to-end across the full portfolio, including the forecasting, dynamic pricing, and allocation decisions that determine how well we monetize both standard and prebuy inventory. The successful candidate will redesign and lead this function. What You'll Own Pricing strategy: Set pricing strategy and governance across all inventory types, including both free-sell and prebuy, balancing competitiveness, margin, and channel/partner requirements. Own dynamic pricing logic: how rates respond to demand, seasonality, competitor positioning, and booking pace, including markdown/time-decay pricing for committed prebuy allotments as the stay date approaches. Bring pricing and demand data into prebuy investment decisions, working with commercial/purchasing on what to commit to and how much. Build demand forecasting by destination, hotel, and season to guide pricing decisions and flag inventory at risk of going unsold, with particular attention to prebuy allotments given their fixed cost and expiry. Decide how inventory, including prebuy stock,
is allocated and prioritized across sales channels/partners to maximize realized revenue. Define channel and partner pricing rules (parity, net rates, markups) in coordination with commercial and distribution teams. Build the pricing tooling/tech roadmap, whether through internal tools, vendor RMS platforms, or a mix, and the reporting that gives leadership visibility into pricing performance across the full portfolio. Team & organization: Design and hire the pricing function, likely distinct roles across demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and trading/allocation. Define how the pricing function interacts with commercial, purchasing, and channel/distribution teams. Build the KPIs and reporting that make pricing performance (across both free-sell and prebuy) visible and owned at leadership level. What We're Looking For Core requirement: Senior pricing/revenue management experience, ideally spanning both standard dynamic pricing and at least some exposure to committed/perishable inventory Has built or significantly scaled a pricing/RM function, not only operated within an existing one Comfortable owning a P&L-relevant outcome, not just a KPI dashboard Has structured a team across multiple pricing disciplines Bachelor's degree preferably in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research,
or another quantitative field; an advanced degree (MBAor Master's in a quantitative discipline) is a plus but not required Backgrounds we're targeting Traditional travel/hospitality Revenue Management is a strong fit given the breadth of this role. We're also actively encourage applicants from other industries with relevant pricing/trading experience, including: Off-price / flash-sale fashion: Head of Trading, Director of Pricing & Allocation, VP Merchandising Ticketing secondary markets: pricing/yield leadership dealing with hard-expiry, time-decay inventory Perishables ecommerce: supply/pricing leadership focused on minimizing unsold inventory Broader ecommerce/retail pricing science, particularly candidates who've worked on both "always available" and "limited/committed" inventory Other: Fluent English. Spanish a plus Willing to be based in or relocate to Palma de Mallorca Comfortable in a scale-up environment: building process and tooling, not just using it What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) A clear, governed pricing strategy across free-sell and prebuy inventory, with defined rules for channel/partner pricing Forecasting and pricing methodology in place for prebuy inventory specifically, with visibility into sell-through risk by hotel/destination/season A functioning pricing team structure with defined ownership across forecasting, dynamic pricing, and prebuy trading Measurable improvement in realized margin and reduction in unsold prebuy inventory ("wastage") versus current baseline A repeatable framework that informs future prebuy buying decisions, not just after-the-fact optimization #J-18808-Ljbffr
