Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides a highly reliable, scalable, low‑cost infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries around the world. To meet the growing demand for AWS cloud computing capacity in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) we are now looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team. Key Responsibilities Support vendors, contractors and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems such as medium and low voltage power systems, generators, UPS, HVAC, chilled water systems, building management systems (BMS), electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), testing and balancing, pumps and hydronic systems. Provide multi‑discipline input into scheduling, test script development, designing and planning of projects. Review component submittal packages. Lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT). Perform system level and integrated system testing. Audit activities to ensure compliance with environmental, quality and safety requirements. Prepare comprehensive weekly reports of status of all ongoing projects and lessons learned. Cover multiple in‑flight projects.



Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning specific education courses. Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with the design, construction, operation or maintenance of mission‑critical facilities, especially data centers. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region. Knowledge of commercial or industrial power systems or mechanical systems. Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment. Experience using a variety of web‑based and other software tools for calculation and data processing.
