The role focuses on systems, worldviews, posthumanist philosophies, more‑than‑human approaches, social innovation and social change.ResponsibilitiesDevelop research on AI and Design, including training programmes for designers, architects and creative professionals to integrate generative AI, digital fabrication and sustainable design.Lead and contribute to European, national and regional research and innovation projects.Write grant proposals for European, national and regional research and innovation projects on AI and Design.Contribute to the discussion,



research and adoption of AI in Design within the Elisava Research department.QualificationsPh.D. in Design, New Media, Computer Science or related field, with a solid academic record.1–4 years of research experience.Fluency in written and spoken English; good level of Spanish or Catalan preferred. Willingness to learn Spanish or Catalan if necessary.Knowledge of design (strategic design, service design), media, digital culture, data analysis and visualisation.Strong interest in social innovation, intersectionality, social impact and sustainability.Additional InformationThe contract is worth €32,000 per year.
