Overview Our client is a global leader within the fragrance industry with a truly global presence and manufacturing facilities all over the world. This role can be based in Spain, the United Kingdom or Dubai. Travel time is 30-40%. Reporting directly into the top level of the organisation, this position will have responsibility for developing and implementing global operations strategy. This role will manage and guide local Operations Managers to implement operational strategic initiatives and projects, process and efficiency improvements, and to ensure all sites meet global manufacturing standards and operate in a safe environment. Responsibilities Global Operations Strategy Develop and implement global operations strategy, driving standardisation and optimisation across all sites Explore and prepare Industry 4.0 strategies with a focus on digitization and customer connectivity Develop and deploy manufacturing standards to drive factories to best-in-class performance across safety, quality, reliability, service, productivity and lead times Global Production Drive rapid and consistent production process improvements to ensure delivery on time in full, to quality standards and with the most effective use of resources Implement manufacturing best practice to deliver significant improvements in manufacturing margin, health and safety,



and housekeeping Create a motivating factory environment where employees are clear on expectations and their success is recognised Project Management Initiate and manage global production projects with a focus on continuous improvement and cost efficiency Monitor and optimise productivity Responsible for global manufacturing site selection and evaluation Integral Operations Management Oversee day-to-day operations across all Manufacturing Divisions Build Logistics function capability strategically across the globe, utilising systems and process Drive efficiency and productivity to ensure excellence in delivery and meeting customers ' expectations Design and implement supply chain metrics and dashboard Health, Safety, Quality, Environment and Compliance Ensure all sites are trained and compliant with all HSQE requirements and relevant legislation Monitor all incidents, investigate and implement necessary corrective actions Oversee Quality Assurance, Environmental and Safety management systems Leadership and Team Management Provide guidance to local GMs on sites, equipment, buildings and permits Develop Supply Chain people capabilities via professional education, development and mentoring We are looking for an individual with 10+ years of experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally within the fragrance industry; experience in food, chemical, or ingredients industry is also welcome. Global experience is a must, with a multi-site background. Strong leadership and the ability to work strategically as well as hands-on at production sites is required.
