Senior Solution Architect - Integral Practice Team As a Senior Solution Architect within the Global Practice team, you will lead the design and implementation of complex solutions, mentor junior process optimization architects, and ensure alignment with business goals and technical standards. You will play a pivotal role in defining and evolving reference solution architectures for end-to-end value chain optimization, working directly with customers and cross‑functional teams to drive adoption and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Drive the design and implementation of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical roadmaps. Guide technical decisions and establish architectural standards to ensure solution quality and integrity. Coach junior architects and development teams, fostering technical excellence and professional growth. Define and uphold solution quality standards to ensure consistent delivery excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs. Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for partner‑led deliveries. Optimize resource allocation across projects. Enhance practice standards and lead competency development across regions, promoting consistency in delivery approaches and best practices. Maintain deep knowledge of product capabilities and implementation best practices to support innovative customer solutions. Skill & Qualifications Ideal Skills Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline (e.G., Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research). 7+ years in refining/petrochemical supply chain planning or consulting. 7+ years of experience in model building, debugging, and case analysis using tools such as Honeywell RPMS, Haverly GRTMPS, Aspen Tech PIMS, or similar. 7+ years in implementation of simulation models (using commercial RTO software i.E., ROMeo, etc.), Yield accounting, APC will be preferred.
Strong foundation in Linear Programming (LP) and supply chain optimization. Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences. Willingness to travel up to 40%. Flexibility to work across multiple time zones based on customer location. Desired Skills Familiarity with planning and network optimization business processes. Deep knowledge of mathematical modelling and optimization techniques. Ph D in Operations Research or a related field. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to extract insights from interviews and data. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Experience with AVEVA Unified Supply Chain (USC) tools such as Spiral Assay, Plan, Network, and Schedule. Understanding of databases, networks, and software architecture. Knowledge of systems integration within the project implementation lifecycle. Proven track record of implementing innovative solutions and driving change in complex operational environments.
