Multi-skilled part-time carpenters are needed at Ace Handyman Services of Metairie. We are a top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling company in Greater New Orleans. We provide quality craftsmanship for homes and businesses, handling repair, maintenance and remodeling projects of various sizes, inside and outside. We are seeking highly motivated professional carpenters with skills in multiple trades.
Position Overview
You will work from your home on a full-time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites. The role is W2 and flexible, with jobs scheduled by the company. Your potential income ranges from $17 to $21 per hour.

Job Requirements
We are looking for carpenters with a strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor, and good overall knowledge of all trades—carpentry, tiling, painting,



drywalling, and light plumbing and electrical. You must display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact positively with clients, employees, management, and office personnel.
Specific Qualifications
- Successful prior track record as a carpenter/craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience strongly preferred
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
- Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
- Own truck or van
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour.
