Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Monitoring
- Map priority sectors, emerging technologies, and startup trends relevant to Grupo Mutua Madrileña’s strategic agenda.
- Source, screen, and evaluate high‑potential startups through market research, founder conversations, pitch deck review, and ecosystem intelligence.
- Assess business models, market size, competitive positioning, unit economics, traction, management teams, scalability, and potential strategic fit.
- Monitor portfolio company performance, key milestones, financial metrics, and strategic value creation opportunities.

Investment Strategy Development
- Build investment theses in priority areas such as mobility, healthtech, fintech or proptech.
- Lead end‑to‑end due diligence,



including financial analysis, market sizing, customer and expert calls, legal coordination, and risk assessment.
- Prepare valuation analyses, scenario models, cap table reviews, waterfalls and investment recommendations for internal decision‑making.
- Support deal structuring and negotiation in coordination with legal, finance, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Documentation & Communication
- Draft concise investment memos, market maps, benchmarking analyses, and investment committee materials.
- Translate complex startup, technology, and financial insights into clear recommendations for senior management and business units.
- Coordinate conversations with founders, co‑investors, industry experts, accelerators, and internal stakeholders.
- Represent Grupo Mutua Madrileña in the venture ecosystem, helping strengthen relationships with entrepreneurs, funds, and innovation partners.
