About the role

We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to own the operational backbone of the employee lifecycle at Enginy, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.

This is a foundational, high-ownership role within a lean People team (Head of People, Talent Acquisition Partner and Office Manager). You will be responsible for making sure our People processes are accurate, compliant, reliable and scalable, so the company can grow with confidence.

The role exists to remove operational risk and friction from People processes,



ensure full compliance with Spanish labor regulations, and provide a smooth, professional employee experience. You’ll work closely with our Gestoria and Finance team on payroll, own our HR systems (Factorial and Notion), manage benefits and act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on operational topics.

This is not a coordination role, it’s an ownership role:
- Employee Lifecycle Ownership
Ensure all people operations (onboarding, contract changes, leaves and offboarding) are executed accurately, on time and properly documented across systems.
- Payroll, Compliance and Labour Relations
Manage monthly payroll inputs and checks in collaboration with the Gestoria and Finance team, while maintaining compliance with Spanish labor law.
- People Policies & Best Practices
Develop, update and communicate People policies ensuring clarity, consistency and adoption across the organisation. Continuously
