Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate Accounts Payable functions and processes to ensure accurate vendor invoice booking and timely payments.
Ensure accurate accounting of invoices, preventing incorrectness and reclassifications that could affect the accounting quality.
Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices according to agreed due dates and supporting documentation required by company policies.
Provide an adequate level of internal control to satisfy all company policies.
Maintain an up‑to‑date Vendor Master File in accordance with company rules and standards.
Lead month‑end processes and facilitate reporting tasks to the Controllers team for all AP related tasks.
Establish work standards, recommend improvements, develop objectives, and design/maintain effective workflows and operating procedures.
Develop policies, procedures, and work instructions for AP review and recommend modifications to existing corporate policies.
Lead or participate in AP‑related projects such as ERP migrations, integrations, new tool implementations, and tool improvements.
Manage the AP team, including coaching, training, performance management, and ensuring proper backups and resources for all countries.
Qualifications
Degree in Finance or Economics.
2 to 3 years of experience in multinational companies.
Ability to complete a 6‑month adjustment period.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑results orientation.
Team management skills; organized, stress‑resistant, and a hard worker.
Experience with Oracle or a similar ERP system.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Fluent in English and Spanish; additional European language is a plus.
