Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using modern development practices.
- Act as the technical reference for the team, providing guidance, mentoring and code reviews.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and implement new application features following clean architecture principles.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable and reusable code using Kotlin and Java.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, payment gateways and third-party services.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces, including custom views and animations.
- Implement reactive programming patterns using RxJava.




- Develop unit tests and ensure software quality through continuous testing.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers and backend engineers.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions.

Requirements

- 8+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java.
- Extensive experience with Android Studio.
- Strong knowledge of Android architectures such as MVVM and MVI.
- Solid understanding of REST API integration.
- Experience with RxJava and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of dependency injection using Dagger or Hilt.
- Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and MockK.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Previous experience mentoring developers or acting as a technical reference.
- Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Sant Cugat del Vallés office
