Assistant Chief Steward / 2nd Head of Silverware & Office (2º Jefe/a de Platería)

to join our team in

Marbella, Spain .

In this operational leadership role, you will not just handle basic utility tasks. Instead, you will act as a key supervisor and organizational anchor. Specifically, you will work closely with the Chief Steward to ensure our silverware department operates seamlessly.

You will combine your team coordination skills with strict adherence to food safety standards. By doing so, you will keep our dining stations fully stocked, maintain equipment safety, and support smooth service execution across all resort outlets.

: Assistant Chief Steward (2nd Head of Silverware & Office) Your Mission: Flawless Sanitation & Back-of-House Operational Supervision Your primary goal involves driving back-of-house operational success.

To achieve this, you will deliver exceptional supervisory support. At the same time, you will keep all utility zones beautifully aligned with strict resort presentation standards. Therefore, you will manage daily team workflows and oversee the sanitization of fine tableware.

Additionally, you will coordinate stock replenishment across outlets.



You will also monitor industrial dishwashing equipment and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to hit service objectives. As a result, you will eliminate service delays during peak dining hours and protect our resort’s reputation for luxury excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

Operational Supervision Support

Assist in organizing daily operations across the office and silverware teams. Specifically, guarantee full compliance with established resort procedures and cleanliness benchmarks.

Tableware & Sanitization Management:

Coordinate the thorough cleaning, sanitization, and careful storage of all kitchen utensils, chinaware, glassware, and fine silverware.

Team Coordination & Training:

Distribute daily tasks and mentor new team members. Furthermore, foster good hygiene habits and maintain clear communication with the Chief Steward.

Equipment & Maintenance Oversight:

Supervise the proper operation of industrial washing machinery. Therefore, report technical maintenance needs promptly and enforce chemical safety standards.

Food Safety Compliance

Guarantee strict adherence to hygiene regulations and food safety standards (HACCP) across all stewarding working areas.

Interdepartmental Synergy

Collaborate directly with kitchen and restaurant teams. By doing so, you will ensure all necessary service materials are available and handle last‑minute requests smoothly.

Who You Are:



The Organized & Quality-Driven Operational Leader

Proven Foundations

You bring verified experience in kitchen utility, silverware management, or stewarding supervision. Ideally, you gained this background within luxury hotels, resorts, or high‑end dining establishments.

Educational Background

You possess formal training in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Operations. Training in food hygiene protocols is highly valued.

The Linguist

You display professional fluency in Spanish. In addition, knowledge of English or other international languages is considered a helpful asset.

Technical Proficiency

You have experience operating industrial washing machinery. Moreover, you feel comfortable using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook) for operational tracking.

Key Competencies

You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, a strong quality orientation, and team spirit. Consequently, you bring flexibility and a high level of professional commitment to the floor.
