Dow Jones is seeking an Automation Support Group Coordinator to act as the central orchestrator for all decentralized automation efforts within the Data Intelligence & AI Governance team. In this role you will ensure impactful, replicable solutions that accelerate team workflows and support continued technical upskilling across the team. As the central point of coordination you will bridge the gap between distributed research desks and department leadership, overseeing governance of decentralized tools from vetting code to translating technical wins for executive leadership.
Responsibilities
Act as the central hub for R&C; automation by maintaining a registry of automation solutions. Identify overlapping efforts across research desks, consolidate them into shared, reusable modules, and chair regular updates to track progress and resolve blockers. Manage code reviews, establish deployment processes, implement version control, and ensure tools meet strict "Definition of Done" standards. Conduct regular audits and feedback sessions to set and improve best practices across the team. Create and manage tools to quantitatively track impact metrics and translate technical wins into business value narratives for senior leadership during demo days. Partner closely with Research Managers to protect technical time, provide performance feedback, and navigate priority conflicts in a fast‑paced matrix environment.
Qualifications – Essential
Proven project leadership with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage complex technical initiatives.
Experience in code review practices, SQL optimization, and enforcing software development quality standards. Detail‑oriented focus on accuracy in automated data processes.
Agile mindset with a track record of successful delivery and exceptional communication skills. Ability to translate dense technical information into clear, actionable insights for engineering teams and non‑technical executives.

This role’s base pay range is €35,000–€45,000. Salary may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other considerations.
