Role Overview As an

AWS Cloud Engineer (Systems) , you will ensure the secure, reliable, and scalable operation of workloads across AWS environments . Your primary focus is system administration, operational automation, and platform reliability. You will work closely with platform, network, database, and security teams to maintain a stable and secure cloud environment.

This role combines

AWS infrastructure operations, system hardening, automation, and monitoring to ensure operational excellence across our global cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities AWS Cloud Operations

Operate and continuously improve AWS environments including governance, monitoring, logging, and cost management

Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes using

Terraform and scripting (Python/Bash)

Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes , including root-cause analysis and remediation

Administer and harden

Linux and Windows workloads running on AWS EC2 and container platforms

Manage patching, configuration management, and OS baselining

Implement and maintain

IAM access models, secrets management, and certificate lifecycle management

Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using CloudWatch

Maintain operational documentation,

runbooks, and standard operating procedures

Automation & Reliability

Automate repetitive operational tasks using

Infrastructure as Code and scripting

Improve platform reliability through backup strategies, DR readiness, and operational automation





Familiarity with container orchestration (ECS / EKS) and serverless technologies

Support continuous improvement of cloud operations and platform stability

Skills & Experience

Several years of experience as

AWS Cloud Engineer, System Administrator, or Cloud Operations Engineer

Strong experience with

AWS services such as EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, SSM, EKS, ECR, S3

Solid

Linux and Windows administration skills

Experience with

Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and automation scripting

Strong troubleshooting and operational mindset

Experience working in regulated environments is a plus
