As a Backend Engineer, you will work in one of the product teams by providing services and solutions that would help millions of users.

What You’ll Do

Solve Complex Challenges: Partner closely with the team to analyze core problems and develop targeted hypotheses to address them.

Drive Innovation through Experimentation: Validate ideas using iterative development and a "fail-fast" mindset to find the best solutions quickly.

Shape Backend Strategy: Collaborate with the wider Backend community to execute and promote key strategic initiatives from our roadmap.

Enable Cross-Team Alignment: Coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure our technical solutions are delivered effectively and on time.

Champion Best Practices: Actively participate in the Backend guild to maintain high technical standards and consistency across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

Technical skills

Real-Time Alerting:

Strong expertise in building and maintaining real-time alerting systems.

Backend Expertise

5+ years of experience in backend development, specializing in high-scale distributed systems.

Tech Stack

Proficiency in

Kotlin and

Java , with deep experience in microservices ( Spring Boot ,

Spring Cloud ).

Containers & Orchestration:

Hands-on experience with

Docker and orchestration tools like

Kubernetes ,

ECS , or

Docker Swarm .

Data Streaming

Experience with stream processing tools, specifically

Kafka .

System Architecture

Deep understanding of system architecture ,

microservices design patterns, and performance optimization.

Engineering Best Practices

Strong advocate for

SOLID principles,

security ,

testing ,

observability , and scalability .

CI/CD & Git:

Advanced expertise in

Git workflows for large-scale codebases and

CI/CD pipelines .

Agile Methodology

Proven experience working within

Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Ownership & Drive:

Self-starter and detail-oriented professional capable of delivering projects with minimal supervision.

Collaboration





Excellent communication skills with a track record of collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
