Fortrea is looking for an experienced Contract and Budget Lead to support our key client in EMEA. The role focuses on managing escalations and reviewing assigned site budgets and contracts to ensure timely contract execution and study startup forecasts are achieved. The incumbent will support the development of creative processes, methodologies, data, and technologies that will drive ongoing improvements in service delivery.

Responsibilities - Oversee the assigned country-level SB&C; function to develop, negotiate, administer, and execute Clinical Trial Agreements and budgets.

- Manage the setting up of country budgets and development of parameters.
- Act as the escalation point for integral budget escalations that fall outside of budget parameters, collaborating with Study Startup, SB&C;, and Clinical Operations teams.
- Leverage industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract feedback aligned with company parameters and fair market value guidance.




- Identify potential delays and propose solutions to resolve and, when necessary, elevate non-performance.
- Negotiate site contract and budget timelines to ensure sites are "Ready To Enroll" per the Startup Project Plan.

Requirements - BS degree or international equivalent.

- Four or more years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting, including country budget build with evidence of increasing responsibility within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or relevant industry vendor.
- At least two years of site budgeting and contracting oversight.
- Ability to explain data and facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
- Expertise in principles driving country/site budgeting and contracting strategies.
