Business Development Account Manager – E‑commerce
Location: Flexible – within Europe. Arduino, now part of Qualcomm, seeks an experienced Business Development Account Manager to lead international expansion of its e‑commerce business. The role involves strategy, stakeholder coordination, and operational execution to enable Arduino products to reach creators worldwide. Responsibilities
Analyze market potential, consumer trends, and demand to identify new region opportunities. Define go‑to‑market strategies, including localized marketing and distribution logistics. Evaluate and select e‑commerce platforms and third‑party solutions for a seamless user experience. Coordinate cross‑functional teams to align on project milestones and deployment timelines. Set up new storefronts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and integration with internal systems. Monitor key performance indicators, provide ROI analysis, and recommend data‑driven decisions. Plan and execute experiments—such as conversion tests and funnel optimizations—to maximize lead generation and sales performance.
Preferred Minimum
Qualifications / Skills
5+ years experience managing e‑commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Mercado Libre, FlipKart, Tmall, JD, etc.) across diverse countries. Strong relationship building and influence with internal and external stakeholders.
Project management expertise and adeptness at handling multiple international projects. Analytical mindset, comfortable with complex data and performance metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages a plus. Self‑starter, proactive, and capable of operating in unstructured, remote‑first environments. Technical affinity for the Arduino ecosystem and broader technology landscape.
Minimum
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years Sales Operations or related experience. Associate’s degree with 4+ years Sales Operations experience. High School Diploma with 6+ years Sales Operations experience. Advanced degrees may substitute up to two years of experience (Master’s = 1 year, Doctorate = 2 years). Bonus Points
