Job Purpose As a Cash Applications Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring customer payments are accurately allocated and reconciled within our financial systems. You will support cash application activities, investigate payment discrepancies, and work closely with Credit & Collections teams to maintain accurate customer account balances.

Responsibilities

Process and allocate incoming customer payments accurately and on time

Manage the Direct Debit process from start to finish

Perform end-to-end credit card reconciliation activities

Handle cheque and bill of exchange processing

Investigate and resolve payment-related queries

Reconcile cash‑in‑transit accounts

Support SOX compliance and internal control processes

Qualifications

Vocational qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

No previous professional experience required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good numerical and analytical skills

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong communication skills

Comfortable working with data and financial information

Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues

Resilient and able to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
