Overview
Financial Crime Prevention Analyst – temporary at ING. The role is to join the Financial Crime Prevention Ops Team within the Financial Crime Prevention Tribe. The team ensures customer due diligence (CDD) measures are met during CDD events (onboarding, CDD review, etc.), aligned with local and integral standards. The role emphasizes process monitoring, reporting, teamwork, attention to detail, data mindset, accountability, and proactivity.
Responsibilities
Customer Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on new and existing customers to ensure completeness and consistency of customer knowledge.
Monitoring: Design, establish, and oversee an effective monitoring framework to ensure proper process performance and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting: Design and implement comprehensive reports and dashboards to deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making.
Results-oriented: Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role with proven experience in projects, monitoring, and reporting, including CDD knowledge.
KYC-CDD Know-How: Deep understanding of Customer Due Diligence regulation and practices.
Education: University degree.
Language: Fluency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
Team player:
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels; strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Data Mindset: Strong analytical skills and data fluency, particularly with Excel and SQL; BI apps experience valued.
Problem-solver: Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities for tackling complex issues.
Organization & Resilience: Solid planning, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with adaptability.
Results orientation: Proactive attitude with focus on achieving goals in dynamic environments.
