Clinical Specialist Interventional – Spain

Position Summary

The Spanish Clinical & Medical Affairs (CMA) Specialist Interventional reports to the EMEA CMA Manager and supports the safe and effective use of Teleflex’s Interventional portfolio. The Specialist assists with education programs and collaborates with key physicians and health providers to provide country‑level education and clinical support. The role facilitates legal compliance with HCP interactions and education delivery, and provides procedural education to physicians, nurses, technicians and other stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities

Educate and support healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of Teleflex Interventional products.

Support the Teleflex commercial and marketing teams by keeping sales staff up-to-date on the latest clinical evidence, practice and product developments.

Provide clinical procedural training, workshops, live cases and proctoring for focused interventional products.

Implement clinical workshops, pre‑conference workshops and in‑booth education programs.

Develop and deliver educational activities ensuring compliance with Teleflex regulatory requirements.

Customize, monitor and track product deployment plans for accounts in conjunction with the Manager.

Maintain training records and report to CMA leadership.

Support the educational grant process and research submissions with the Integral Scientific Research Services Team.

Provide clinical support to the commercial team and all customers.

Assist in the development and maintenance of Key Opinion Leader relationships.

Collaborate across CMA, Marketing & Sales to remain compliant with Teleflex HCP policy and legal education requirements.

Maintain regular clinical credibility with Interventional Cardiology and meet revalidation requirements for Registered Nurses (if applicable).





Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification in the healthcare sector and registration with the relevant professional register.

Degree in medicine or clinical fields.

Professional training/education qualification desirable.

Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiology Interventional Nursing within a cardiac catheter laboratory, or proven experience in the sector.

Experience in PCI, preferably with Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) cases, and in Structural procedures such as EVAR, TEVAR and TAVI, as well as peripheral vascular interventions.

Skills in cardiac catheter laboratory and vascular or interventional radiology nursing.

Proven experience in education and teaching using simulation and workshop approaches.

Experience delivering teaching presentations to healthcare professionals.

Specialized Skills & Other Requirements

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.

Track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Spanish native speaker and fluent English speaker.

Clinical proficiency in training.

Valid driving license.

Frequent travel across Spain (up to 75%) and occasional trips abroad.

Remote work capability available.
