We are looking for a
Clinical Scientist to join our growing clinical development team. The candidate will play a central role in shaping clinical development plans, designing clinical protocols, analysing and interpreting study outcomes, and contributing to the communication and dissemination of clinical evidence.
As a Clinical Scientist, you will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (Clinical Operations, R&D;, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigila nce) and external partners to ensure successful clinical trial execution and scientific excellence throughout the development process. This is position based in Madrid, with a predominantly office-based working model.
Key Responsibilities
Development of clinical development plans aligned with overall product development strategy.
Design and develop clinical trial protocols, ensuring scientific rigor, feasibility,
and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Provide scientific leadership in the planning and design of clinical studies across different development phases.
Review, analyze, and interpret clinical study data, ensuring robust scientific evaluation of efficacy and safety outcomes.
Critically assess clinical study reports, integrated summaries, and data outputs to support development decisions.
Contribute to the preparation of scientific documentation required for regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities.
Translate clinical data into strategic insights that support product development decisions.
Lead the communication and dissemination of clinical results, including scientific publications, presentations, congress abstracts, and external scientific communication.
Required Qualifications
Scientific degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline.
Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in Clinical Science, Clinical Development, or related scientific roles within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments.
Demonstrated experience in clinical development planning and strategy.
Understanding of drug development processes and international clinical research regulations.
Scientific writing, presentation, and communication skills.
