Colourist (Virtual Production / LED Workflows)

The Opportunity

Yellowcat is looking for some experienced Colourists to join a cutting-edge virtual production team, helping deliver exceptional colour pipelines across high-end advertising and immersive content.

This is a highly technical role, idóneo for someone with a deep understanding of colour science and advanced DaVinci Resolve workflows. You'll play a key part in developing and managing LUTs, ensuring colour consistency from on-set LED volumes through to final delivery, and collaborating closely with DITs, VFX, Unreal Engine, production and post-production teams.

What You'll Bring

- Expert knowledge of colour science, colour spaces and display technologies (ACES, Rec.709, Rec.2020, DCI-P3, sRGB)
- Strong understanding of gamma curves, transfer functions and colour management workflows
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, including node-based grading, qualifiers, power windows, scopes and Resolve Colour Management




- Experience creating, managing and optimising LUTs for both on-set and post-production environments
- Knowledge of LED wall calibration and colour accuracy within virtual production pipelines
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to document workflows clearly and consistently
- A collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-volume production environment
