Contemporary Star Energy is looking for you… Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together general automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility.

Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.

Strategically located next to the Stellantis Plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

Join our team! We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager who will design, implement, and manage competitive and compliant compensation and benefits strategies aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Design and implement compensation and benefits policies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market competitiveness.

Oversee salary administration, job classification, and monitor labor costs, including salary budgets and compensation-related expenses.

Manage headcount planning and reporting, ensuring alignment with budget and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Supervise payroll processes and systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with labor and tax regulations.

Oversee time and attendance processes,



ensuring accurate data collection and integration into payroll.

Ensure the accuracy, maintenance, and integrity of employee records and HR systems.

Manage the HR budget, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency.

Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance and communicating relevant changes.

Lead, train, and ensure compliance of the team with company policies, as well as safety and environmental standards.

Your profile and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Labor Relations, Human Resources, or a related field.

High level of English (minimum C1).

At least 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in industrial sector, with proven team management experience.

Strong expertise in compensation and benefits within large organizations, including knowledge of local labor laws, payroll, and tax regulations.

Solid experience in cost analysis and budget management.

High level of proficiency in HR systems and data analysis tools.

Availability to work onsite at our facilities in Figueruelas (Zaragoza).
