Role Summary Compliance Officer – Valencia, Permanent (Full-Time) Responsibilities - Provide regulatory guidance across all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance with local laws, AML/CFT requirements, and internal and group policies.

- Manage and oversee compliance controls, monitoring, and key compliance registers (Conflict of Interest, Complaints, PEP).
- Process daily AML/CFT and sanctions screening hits and act as escalation point for AML/KYC and KYA matters.
- Coordinate with internal and external MLROs, portfolio managers, transfer agents, auditors and external advisors on high‑risk assets and complex issues.
- Prepare and submit LIS RC's opinion, AML comfort letters and beneficial ownership confirmations.
- Review AML/CFT KPIs, oversee risk assessments for funds, and support the annual compliance and AML/CFT risk reporting.
- Train junior staff and support the Head of Compliance on presentations, policy updates, and house training.

Qualifications - Minimum 4+ years of relevant industry experience; at least 5 years in a compliance, internal audit, or related function within financial services, credit institutions, or auditing.

- Strong academic background, preferably in law or economics.




- Solid knowledge of Luxembourg fund industry regulations and AML/CFT requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is preferred; basic French is desirable.
- Strong negotiation, prioritisation, and independent decision‑making abilities, with a collaborative team mindset.
- Experience in private capital markets is a plus; advanced MS Office skills.
