We are expanding our Databricks practice and are looking for an experienced Databricks Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) to join our EMEA team.

The Role

As a Resident Solutions Architect, you will be a trusted technical advisor helping enterprise customers design, implement, and optimise modern Databricks platforms. Working alongside customer teams and Ultra Tendency consultants, you will lead architecture decisions, promote best practices, and maximise customer success.

This is a highly customer-facing role requiring both hands-on engineering expertise and excellent communication with technical and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise strategic customers on Databricks architecture and adoption.
- Design scalable Lakehouse, analytics, AI, and cloud data solutions.
- Lead architecture workshops and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support implementation, optimisation, troubleshooting, and platform adoption.
- Review workloads for scalability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Promote best practices for Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, governance, and platform operations.
- Mentor customer teams and Ultra Tendency consultants.
- Deliver technical workshops and executive presentations.
- Support pre-sales, technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concepts.

Required Qualifications
- 7 years in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture,



Analytics, or related fields.
- 3 years of enterprise Databricks experience.
- Experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures.
- Strong knowledge of:
- - Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
- Apache Spark
- Delta Lake
- Unity Catalog
- Data Governance & Security
- Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT & Data Modelling

- Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications
- Databricks certifications (Data Engineer, Solutions Architect or ML Professional).
- Experience with MLflow, MLOps, Generative AI, LLMs, Data Mesh, streaming platforms, or consulting environments.
- German or Portuguese language skills are advantageous.
