We are currently looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the opening and operations of a new premium hospitality property in Costa Brava, Spain, opening summer 2027.
Set within 40 hectares of nature, the project combines a 15-room boutique hotel, wellness retreats, destination weddings, and performance-focused experiences in a highly curated environment deeply connected to movement, wellbeing, recovery, and outdoor living.
Designed as a destination for people seeking balance, sport, disconnection, and meaningful experiences, the property aims to offer a more contemporary and intentional approach to hospitality.
We are looking for a strong operational leader capable of overseeing both the guest experience and the long-term development of a multi-dimensional hospitality concept.
Experience & Skills
Minimum 5–7 years of experience managing a boutique hotel or luxury hospitality property.
Proven expertise in spa and wellness operations management.
Strong experience in organizing private events (weddings) and corporate seminars.
Ability to manage full property buyouts and exclusive privatizations.
Strong interest and understanding of sport, recovery, wellness, and performance-focused hospitality is considered a strong plus.
Strong understanding of the Catalan tourism and hospitality market.
Languages
Fluent Spanish and Catalan (essential for local relationships and supplier management).
Fluent English (international clientele).
French is considered a plus.
Soft Skills
Inspiring leadership, strong sense of luxury hospitality, and discretion.
Commercially minded and results-oriented, particularly within wellness and MICE segments.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop original retreat concepts and experiences.
Main Responsibilities
Supervision of hotel operations, including accommodation, spa, and F&B.;
Management of wedding operations and retreat organization teams.
Development and commercialization of private buyouts for companies, retreats, and wedding agencies.
Key Performance Indicators
Guest satisfaction score (NPS) across each segment (Hotel / Weddings / Retreats).
Annual occupancy rate, including optimization of shoulder seasons through retreats.
Profitability by business segment (EBITDA).
For this level of responsibility within the luxury hospitality sector, compensation may range between €5,000 and €8,000 gross per month, often complemented by performance-based bonuses linked to event revenue targets.
