ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for an experienced Director of Operations to lead and evolve a geographically dispersed team responsible for managing the operations of a 1,000-partner strong network. This main role will focus on improving processes, strengthening team capabilities, and implementing strategic improvements.

The Director will oversee a team of 50+ people across El Salvador, Los Angeles, Madrid, Senegal, India, and Malaysia, with four direct managerial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large-scale, integral operations teams and driving improvements in process efficiency, team structure, and performance standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership & Team Development – Set clear goals and priorities to enhance team efficiency and performance. Identify skill gaps and implement structured training programs. Establish consistent processes across all regions to improve operations and workload management. Reduce reliance on ad-hoc processes and implement best-in-class operational standards.

Operational





Excellence & Process Improvement – Strengthen workflows and automation to improve team efficiency. Implement standardized operational processes across diverse time zones and cultural contexts. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize tools and technology for team effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Engage with external partners to improve support and operational consistency. Act as a key escalation point for operational challenges, ensuring resolution.

Performance

Monitoring & Reporting – Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness. Implement data-driven decision-making processes to continuously improve operational performance. Ensure proactive issue detection and resolution through the Monitoring team’s post-transactional analysis.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 7+ years of experience in operations leadership. Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing scalable operational frameworks. Strong ability to lead managers and develop high-performing teams.

Experience in industries with complex regulatory, technical, or operational environments (Fintech a plus). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a complex ecosystem. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executive stakeholders and external partners. Ability to travel periodically to global team locations.

Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
