To strengthen our team at Barcelona Airport (BCN), we are looking for an experienced and dedicated EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 Aircraft Certifying Technician (m/f/d). Tasks Your Responsibilities

Perform line maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification in accordance with EASA regulations and approved maintenance documentation.

Certify aircraft for return to service as an EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 Aircraft Certifying Technician.

Interpret technical documentation, including the Minimum Equipment List (MEL), to ensure safe and compliant maintenance.

Diagnose technical faults and perform effective repair solutions.

Lead and coordinate maintenance activities during your shift, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Supervise and support technicians within your area of responsibility, providing technical guidance and coaching.

Act as the Technical Manager's deputy during shift operations, making operational decisions when required.

Coordinate technical activities with flight crews, airport partners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth station operations.





Support operational planning and cost awareness while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Requirements Your profile

Obligatory: valid EASA Part-66 CAT B1.1 licence with type ratings on A320 Family (all engines), B777 (GE), and B787 (RR Trent/GE).

Additional type ratings on A350 (RR Trent) and/or A220 (PW) are an advantage.

Current Human Factors, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety certificates.

Recent certifying experience on EASA-registered aircraft (minimum 6 months within the last 24 months).

Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage.

Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Structured and proactive working style with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Previous leadership experience and the ability to guide, coach, and motivate team members.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in a rotating three-shift system and support assignments within the Lufthansa network when required.

Valid and unlimited Schengen Visa, driving licence.

Working pattern: rotating early, late, and night shifts.
