Role Overview

We are looking for a specialist to take charge of modernizing our mainframe systems. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining high-volume business logic and refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile application integration. Responsibilities

Maintain performance: prevent decay and find efficiencies by monitoring architecture and optimizing code. Debug and test: troubleshoot complex system interactions and keep mission-critical applications running. Develop for the future: extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services. Required Skills and Experience

Experience as a software engineer on complex software projects. Excellent coding skills in Java, Python, .Net or similar, with debugging and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with software development methodologies and building scalable, robust software.





Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services. Knowledge of architecture design – microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), messaging queues. Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Certification in a hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, or Google GCP); certifications may be obtained through Kyndryl. Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices. Benefits
