Job Overview EEE Parts Project Engineer (Madrid, Spain)

Join Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) in Tres Cantos to support the development of electronic equipment for Space business areas including Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis) and Commercial Telecommunications Satellites. You will be part of a diverse technical team focused on innovation, product consolidation and continuous performance improvement.

Responsibilities Act as the primary technical interface between the EEE, materials and processes team and internal customers (programmes, operations, design engineering, procurement, quality, sales) as well as external partners within Airbus CRISA and Airbus Space Products.

Drive selection and demand management of electronic parts, including OQOTOC, for internal customers.

Provide technical/quality support to end‑customers (Space Agencies and private companies) and to procurement functions (project supply manager, commodities and supply quality).

Advise on EEE design topics, product assurance, quality issues and technical support for procurement of lower‑tier suppliers along the entire end‑to‑end process (bid to delivery and post‑delivery NCRs).

Maintain end‑to‑end quality support for all EEE‑related topics, engaging parts manufacturers, test houses and equipment suppliers.

Manage risks and opportunities for EEE parts throughout the project lifecycle.





Qualifications Engineering or physics degree with focus on electronic components.

Experience with active and passive components in space environments.

Knowledge of space program experience and EEE space standardization systems (MIL, ESCC).

Strong understanding of EEE device physics, construction, functionality and failure modes of passive, active and optoelectronic components.

Fluent in English and Spanish at negotiation level.
