Position Education & Training Administrative Support - AI4S
About BSC The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC‑CNS) is a leading supercomputing centre in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, and plays a pivotal role within the European HPC ecosystem. BSC combines HPC service provision and research in life, earth and engineering sciences, employing more than 1,000 staff from 60 countries.
Context and Mission The Education and Training Team, within the Director’s Department, coordinates training and education activities, conducts educational research, and develops collaborations with other leading HPC and supercomputing centres and universities. It contributes to national and European projects such as Severo Ochoa Centre of Excellence, EUMaster4HPC, EuroCC2, CASTIEL2 and EVITA.
Key Duties
Collaborate with a dynamic team to advance HPC education and training goals across local, national and international projects.
Prepare and support courses, meetings, training events, and other activities for diverse audiences.
Provide constructive feedback to streamline, optimise and improve E&T; unit policies, procedures and documentation.
Manage documents, phone calls and correspondence (reports, e‑mail, letters, packages, etc.) with students, participants, lecturers and administration.
Oversee in‑house training facilities.
Promote available training opportunities (web and other channels) and design improvements to training materials such as flyers, certificates and merchandise.
Support the preparation of international project proposals related to Education & Training of HPC knowledge, skills and competences.
Provide on‑site support for training events, seminars and activities, coordinating work‑from‑home days with the team to ensure full coverage.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor or Certificate of Higher Education (CFGS) in Business Administration or a related field.
Essential Knowledge and Experience
2–3 years of experience in administrative roles.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.
Survey administration and reporting skills.
Additional Knowledge and Experience
High proficiency in Spanish and English, written and oral.
Knowledge of public systems or prior experience in research centers is a plus.

Conditions
Location: BSC, Director’s Department.
Contract: Full‑time (35h/week), versátil working hours, relocation support.
Benefits: Extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance.
Holidays: 22 days + 6 personal days + 24th and 31st December (per collective agreement).
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
