About the Role Our client, a leader in the data centre industry, is looking for an Electrical LV Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of low-voltage switchgear solutions for complex industrial projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring systems are safe, reliable, and innovative, influencing critical infrastructure in a fast-moving sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design and specify low-voltage switchgear systems in line with project requirements

Develop detailed electrical designs that optimize safety and functionality

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly

Create technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and specifications

Support project reviews and provide technical guidance during execution

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols





Review and adapt drawings during project lifecycle to meet evolving needs

Assist site teams with technical expertise during installation and commissioning

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in electrical LV design within data centre or industrial environments

Extensive data centre project experience is required

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline

Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and safety practices

Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and design software

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
