Career Opportunity – Electrical Technician (Yachting)

Van der Leun Yachting Spain is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

As a leading system integrator in the superyacht industry, we specialize in the installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced electrical systems for both new-build and refit projects. We are looking for a professional who is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and who enjoys working in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems onboard yachts.

Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Installation and termination of electrical cabling, switchboards, control panels, sensors, and associated equipment.

Testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis of electrical installations.

Working closely with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Maintaining compliance with company procedures and applicable safety regulations.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within the marine, yachting, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.





Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.

Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.

Good command of English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
