From Morgan Philips Interim management We are seeking an Interim Labour Relations Manager to lead the overall Human Resources function at an industrial manufacturing plant located in the Madrid Region. This position will report into an international matrix organization and play a key role as a member of the local Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities HR Leadership & Operations Lead, coordinate, and develop the local HR team.
Ensure the effective execution of all HR processes, including employee administration, labor relations, training, development, and recruitment.
Prioritize activities and resources within a highly dynamic industrial environment.
Ensure alignment between HR initiatives and the plant’s operational objectives.
Labor Relations Act as the primary point of contact with employee representatives and works councils.
Manage collective bargaining processes, commissions, regular meetings, and union communications.
Ensure full compliance with labor legislation while fostering a stable and constructive employee relations climate.
Oversee payroll, employment contracts, onboarding/offboarding processes, employee records, and labor-related documentation.
Monitor HR KPIs and workforce metrics, including absenteeism, shift management, working hours, and employee turnover.
Ensure robust processes, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
HR Business Partnering & Leadership Support Actively participate in the plant’s Leadership Team.
Provide analysis, insights,
and value-added recommendations on critical people-related decisions.
Partner with Finance on workforce planning, cost structure management, and budgeting activities.
Drive operational efficiency initiatives related to productivity, talent management, and employee engagement.
Adapt and deploy integral HR processes at plant level, including performance management, talent development, compensation, training, and culture initiatives.
Collaborate with international teams within a matrix organization.
Ensure consistency, reporting accuracy, and tracking of global HR KPIs.
Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources .
Proven experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong track record of leading HR departments and participating in leadership teams.
Extensive expertise in Labor Relations and Personnel Administration.
Experience in multinational companies and matrix organizations is highly desirable.
High level of autonomy, resilience, and initiative.
Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
Practical, hands-on, solution-driven approach and ability to perform under pressure.
Location Madrid, Spain.
Contract Duration Interim Management Assignment – 12 months .
