Founded in 2015, ABL DIAGNOSTICS has designed, developed, manufactured, marketed and supported in France and internationally, directly or via a network of exclusive distributors in 45 countries, molecular biology diagnostic tests for detection (UltraGene®) and genotyping by DNA sequencing (DeepChek®), for infectious diseases.

These are the result of proprietary know-how acquired over the years and scientific collaborations with renowned teams and dedicated technical protocols. ABL DIAGNOSTICS has particularly developed high-tech genotyping medical devices for chronic infectious diseases such as AIDS, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, and also for the genotyping of SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), as well as other viral and bacterial targets.

ABL DIAGNOSTICS offers its customers complementary products in the patient care value chain such as sample collection kits (MediaChek®), a specialized electronic clinical file (Nadis®, installed in more than 200 hospitals in France) and medical devices for viral extraction, amplification, sequencing and automation of medical biology laboratories.

Provide

1st and

2nd level application support for our molecular and gene testing product portfolio (PCR, Sanger sequencing, NGS…) and for device installation

Support our affiliates and distributors in all application-related tasks, including installation, demonstration, on‑site validation , training and troubleshooting

Ensure that product updates, complaint handling and post marketing surveillance are dealt with efficiently and effectively

Develop and conduct product and application training





Contribute to customer relationship management, understanding customer needs, setting appropriate product and performance expectations, and gathering market intelligence regarding competitive information and new sales opportunities

Feedback information to Product Marketing, Scientific, Technical, R&D;, QM and other teams across the organisation as appropriate to help in the accurate marketing/further development of our products

Take responsibility for the application‑related collaborations

Support organisation and take part in user group meetings, workshops, and exhibitions

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics or Medicine or vocational training with specialisation in aforementioned subjects A minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience in the areas of Sequencing, ideally in a clinical laboratory setting or as a trainer or field application specialist would be idóneo

Understanding of data analysis, software applications and/or bioinformaticstools and programs

Ability to translate complex clinical, medical, and diagnostic issues into comprehensive language and illustrations

Effective communication and teaching skills, especially in the context of online training

Clear vision of and commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Pragmatic, problem‑solving and deadline‑oriented approach

Collaborative, analytical, structured and thorough work style

Willingness to travel (up to 80%)

Excellent English and Spanish language skills; knowledge of other European languages advantageous (French…)
