Role Description The Foreman role at Biotonomy is a full-time, on-site position based in Málaga. The Foreman will oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites, coordinating trades, supervising site teams, and ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to Biotonomy’s sustainability and quality standards.

Responsibilities include organizing labor and materials, monitoring safety and environmental compliance, interpreting plans and specifications, and reporting progress to project managers and other stakeholders. The Foreman will also support the implementation of nature-based and green infrastructure solutions, troubleshoot issues on site, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers,



and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

- Experience supervising construction sites, coordinating crews, and managing daily field operations in building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and site logistics, ideally including green building or nature-based solutions.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications, with attention to detail and quality control.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk management, and environmental best practices, with a track record of maintaining safe job sites.
- Effective communication and leadership skills for guiding teams, coordinating with subcontractors, and collaborating with design and engineering professionals.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and respond to on-site challenges.
- Experience with basic project documentation, progress reporting, and use of construction-related digital tools or software.
- Background in sustainable construction, green infrastructure, or regenerative design is highly beneficial.
- Relevant vocational training or technical degree in construction, civil engineering, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience is also valued.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Málaga, with flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs and site conditions.
