This position will be based in our Medellin office, Colômbia (work model: in person).

Role Purpose

The ESG Investment Associate provides analytical, coordination, and technical support to the ESG Investment Officer across Patria’s pre-investment ESG processes and fund-level compliance functions. The position plays a key role in guaranteeing the ESG-readiness across funds and asset classes at Patria — from pipeline screening through to financial close, as well as strengthening Patria’s relationships with DFI and impact-oriented LPs.

Main Responsibilities

ESG Screening & Eligibility

Apply exclusion lists and ESG eligibility criteria to new investment opportunities at the initial screening stage.
Prepare ESG appraisal memos for review by the ESG Investment Officer and Investment Committee.
Maintain and update the deal pipeline ESG tracking log and internal ESG databases.
