Flight Test Instrumentation System Engineer and Operations Airbus Defence & Space is hiring a Flight Test Instrumentation System Engineer and Operations to support the Flight Test Instrumentation System and Operations team based in Sevilla. The role involves designing, developing, operating and maintaining flight test means systems that support all flight testing activities.

Responsibilities

Collect flight test means requirements, capture and tailor solutions with stakeholders, and agree on a flight test means verification and validation strategy.

Support the design and production areas during flight test means integration into aircraft.

Coordinate with customers, airworthiness and external stakeholders to ensure the system is built to specification and produce validation statements.

Operate flight test means (airborne and ground), ensure safety standards, prepare the FTM for flight, perform functional checks and support flight test campaigns.

Process and provide flight test data to the customer,



and store data according to required security levels.

Maintain FTM configuration, perform maintenance and first‑level troubleshooting to keep the system in an airworthy condition.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related field.

3–5 years of experience in flight test instrumentation or related area.

Spanish mother‑tongue or equivalent.

Advanced English. Knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
